The City Of Wilmington

As far as historic places go, Wilmington tops the charts, The city is located on the east coast of the United States and was the largest exporter of Terpentine in the world.
At the end of the Civil War Wilminton became the home for many slaves.


Wilmington: Leisure and History Wilmington, North Carolina, built on the east bank of the Cape Fear River, was a major port and shipbuilding center in the 1700s. Today the city attracts attention as one of the largest districts listed in the National Register of Historic Places
